Like before…

21 09 2010

Unfortunately like last time, I have decided to quit. It’s not easy maintaining a blog nearly everyday while going to school. If you want to try, make your own blog and see. You never know, you might get famous.

I am quitting. Like last time, I won’t be closing the blog. The CCPWIP is now stopped and the Piffle project aborted. No one even goes to this site anymore. The golden days were better, the heyday of this blog.

You will be able to see me regularly on the Penguin Generation Forums (http://www.penguingeneration.net/forum.htm) and if you’re lucky, on CP.

Well, like before, bai deir.

Club Penguin helping Haiti

15 08 2010

Hello Penguins!

As many of you know, we’re always trying to help kids and families all over the world. And thanks to your support and generosity, a new school has been built in Haiti.

It just needs one more thing – a painted mural for the playground… And we want YOU to design it!
August 14 Blog.jpgShow us what having fun means to you by drawing and sending us a picture of your penguin playing with your buddies! We’ll then select the Top 4 pictures, and everyone will vote for their favorite here on the What’s New Blog!

If your artwork is chosen, it will be painted by one of our artists as a large wall mural. We hope this mural will help share the gift of fun with all the kids who play there.

We’ll be putting up a submission page next week. Here’s the Dos and Don’ts list for your picture, so you can get started:

Do:

1. Draw between two and four penguins playing together.
2. Draw the picture taking place outdoors.
3. Draw penguins with only one or two simple items. Like hats and scarves!
4. Try to use five colors or less.
5. Use any art style you like! Pencils, pens and paints are great!

Don’t
:

1. Include any personal information (like an address).
2. Use any words.
3. Use anyone else’s pictures.
4. Draw large or complicated items. (No Squidzoids!)

So what do you think? Let us know, and make sure to check back next week for more info.

Until then… Waddle on!

-Club Penguin Team

Hidden Ice Cave

14 08 2010

Very special thanks to C0median for pointing this out. Go to the room with the axe and log challenge. Waddle to the lower right, and click the crystal-looking thing:

(I took a picture of the wrong area – It should look like this when it is clicked)

You will be taken to an Ice Cave:

Nice find there, C0median!

Mountain Expedition

13 08 2010

The Mountain Expedition has now started. Go to the Ski Village and walk up. You are now in the Supply Camp.

You can find a shop there with supplies and a free hat. There is a catalouge here:

Climb up the Camp to reach an Ice Cave. There is a puzzle there:

To solve it, click the icicles for them to go down. Some might go up. This is similar to the puzzle in Mission 3 (Case of the Missing Coins). If you have solved the puzzle before, just click the red button:

You will reach another camp. Climb up to get to a puzzle room. To start the puzzle, mouse-over the axe. Snow will fall on it. Click on the leaf on the lower left:

Click on it a few times to get the snow off the axe. Click on the axe:

Click on the axe a few times to chop the “tree” down:

Throw lots of snowballs on the icicles to make them fall:

This creates a bridge. Cross it:

You have reached the mountain top. There is a free flag item. Click on the camera for a background:

The pin is at the Lighthouse, BTW:

-Hiker penguin being interviewed

That means if you’re a member you can  earn more stamps in the “Events” tab in the Stamp Book. New igloo designs are being released too:

There are rumors that the “Loft Igloo” will be released. It is a double story igloo. Events are:

Why does this play always come out when I get a membership?
